  • The King of Le Mans

On 14 July 1970, Porsche achieved the brand's greatest success to date. The Porsche 917K in red and white from Porsche Salzburg with the start number 23 reached the top spot at the 24-hour race. The Porsche in the short-tail version with a 5-litre engine and approx. 600 bhp saw Hans Herrmann and Richard Attwood to victory in the end. The short tail ensures significantly better handling and thus better drivability. The original winning car with the chassis no. 917-023 is in a private collection. A Porsche 917 retrofitted with the look of the winning Le Mans car can be admired in the Porsche Museum in Zuffenhausen.

The legend for your EVOLUTION race track

Would you like to drive the legendary race of Le Mans yourself? Here, you can compete with your former competitor, the Ferrari 512s. Will you also be able to win the race here? Thanks to the official Porsche licence, the slot car on a scale of 1:32 is in no way inferior to the original. You can also upgrade your slot car digitally with the decoder (26732), so that you can also drive on the DIGITAL 132 race track.
