Besides the world-famous Corvette, there was another famous Chevrolet muscle car, the Chevelle SS. Available in the normal version as a limousine or an estate, the SS version (which stands for Super Sport) produced up to 450 bhp. The Chevrolet Chevelle SS 545 "Super Stocker II" was used in the 1970s in the NASCAR series and became the most successful racing car in NASCAR.
