New car, new luck?

Numerous technical changes in the DTM regulations were the reason for the development of the new AMG C 63 DTM in 2015. The aerodynamic vehicle is equipped with a 4.0-litre naturally aspirated V8 engine and produces about 550 bhp. At the 2017 season opener, British driver Gary Paffett was able to compete in the new racing car at Hockenheim, but in the end only finished tenth in the drivers' overall standings. Quite different in 2018: Here, the racing driver from the Mercedes-AMG DTM HWA team was able to attack fully again and secured the DTM championship title for the second time in his career.
