CoMod Carrera 124 Review of the Carrera Evo/D132 Opel Manta A Tuner 3
(27284 and 30460)
The Opel crew is back on the road.
. .. and in a whole new look! Green is out—for the 2009 season, the Tuner Manta is sporting the classic Opel racing colors of yellow and black. The passengers have obviously raided their closets and dressed in color-coordinated outfits. And the driver takes it one step further: having bleached his hair blonde just last year, his mane is now just as black as the hood of his car. And where large Opel emblems once stood out, the viewer now sees black-and-white checkered checkered flags.
In terms of technology and suspension, there have been no changes—the oversized wheels continue to divide opinion: either you don’t mind them, or you find them hideous. Accordingly, the handling is also free of surprises—everything is just as it was.
