Yeah...you can’t help but gush and sing at the sight of the first color variant of the Porsche GT3 RSR in the Felbermayr team livery.

Since I wasn’t familiar with this version, I naturally looked for the original model. I found it on the Porsche website under “News” – “Silverstone.” All I can say is: it’s a top-notch reproduction—everything about it is just right! Take a look at the wheel hub details—one side is red, the other blue. Just like with the Flying Lizard, the interior has also been beautifully rendered.

I won’t go into detail about all the chassis updates—you can find those in full in my review of the Flying Lizard: “it’s all the same.” For

me, this is yet another fantastic version of the Porsche. It’s really hard to say which of the two is the more beautiful. For me, it’s a clear tie! Both look so good on the track that you can’t pick a favorite. What a great addition to the GT series.

If any of you have a little DIY skill, you can customize these two sister cars with just a little effort and some paint. Whether it’s the Flying Lizard or now the Felbermayr, the differences are minimal: start number, driver’s name, and the stripes on the mirrors and windows. Even with the bare chassis, you have all the options for customization.

We could definitely use more variations like this.
