Test report from CoMod Carrera124 on the Carrera DIGITAL 132/Evolution Alfa Romeo GTA Silhouette Race 3 (Art. No. 30651/27431)
The Alfa Romeo GTA Silhouette is now competing in its third design variant. This version is appropriately called "Race 3" and features the Italian national colors of green, white, and red. The large "OKP" lettering catches the eye; this is a major specialist supplier that offers spare parts for classic Alfas and other classic cars from Italy. While the theme is certainly a natural fit, I still find the lettering visually inappropriate.
The gaps on the separate front part of the body feel somewhat smaller than on the test vehicles from 2012, and the rims are still very well done.
There are no surprises during the road test. As is my usual practice, the car starts without the rear magnet, leaving the center magnet in the car. This results in good acceleration and a moderately wide acceleration limit, which forgives the occasional driving error. Overdoing it in the corner still risks a spin or even a crash.
Conclusion: Even if I don't entirely like the look of this variant, the little Alfa is still an exceptional addition to the vehicle range.
