The Ford Capri - an absolute hit on the racetrack
The Ford Capri was not only a popular vehicle on public roads - the race track was also its home for a long time. The Capri was particularly successful in the German racing championship. In 1981, the Würth-Zakspeed team achieved victory in the overall standings with the Ford Capri. Klaus Ludwig won 10 of the 14 races and was the clear overall winner in the end. In 1982, the Capri was entered in 4 races before it was replaced by the successor model, the Ford C100.
