Carrera presents the brand new innovation Carrera HYBRID: the perfect combination of gaming and racing fun, because the vehicles can move freely on and off the track and thus guarantee an unforgettable racing feeling! The AI support enables a realistic driving experience in various driving modes. The starter range of the Carrera HYBRID line includes two sets that contain all the necessary components.
The vehicles are controlled via an app that can be downloaded free of charge from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Steering is done intuitively by tilting the smartphone; buttons on the display show the accelerator and brake.
The design of the app is based on the cockpit of real racing cars to offer a particularly natural driving experience. With a choice of beginner and expert modes, there is always something for drivers of all experience levels.

The sets each contain two licensed and true-to-original Porsche 911 GT3 R models in various cool paint finishes. Also included are 4 high-speed straights, 10 nerve-wracking bends and a start/finish straight. These can be set up in different configurations to make every race exciting and unique. In addition, the batteries are permanently installed in the cars and suitable USB charging cables are included so that you can get started right away. The Carrera HYBRID app can be downloaded free of charge from the Google Playstore and the Apple Store.
There are several sets in which racers already find all the parts they need. There is also a selection of interesting individual vehicles and route expansion sets, so-called track packs and other vehicle models.

Just like in reality, every acceleration, braking and steering has an impact on the condition of the tires. The tires wear particularly badly when you corner too quickly and the AI has to intervene with emergency braking. This must be avoided.
This is planned for one of the following app updates, but can already be done in principle with the following “hack”: Set Ghost Car to STRONG driving assistance, place it on the track and accelerate to the desired speed.
