In November 2016, the collectors' scene was thrown into turmoil when a Evolution "Hightech Race BWT vs. Euronics" basic pack suddenly appeared on various sales portals. It contained two Mercedes C-Coupe AMG DTM, one the well-known blue and yellow model of Gary Paffett and a previously unknown model in pink.

Fake? Special edition? Neither, just an early 2017 novelty that had its first appearance in this special set. And as has already been discussed in the forum, the design doesn't really match the existing body shape, as Lucas Auer drove the successor model in the original. Nevertheless, the adaptation to the now quite old shape from 2013 has been very successful, and the black rims contribute to the appearance.

With the best will in the world, I can't tell you anything new about the technology and driving behavior: the lighting scatters slightly from the sides of the wheel arches at the front, and the driving performance is faultless. The model sits firmly on the track and offers balanced handling, just like all other DTM cars.
