. The third in the lineup is the Audi Sport Team Abt T. Kristensen in the trendy color white.
So, let’s unbox it, get it on the track, and see what the A4 can do!

Appearance:
After I removed the protective film, only one thing came to mind: WOW, it turned out beautifully! And truly, the white 1:32 scale version is every bit as good as the original. It takes a while to discover all the details, whether it’s the decals, the shape of the diffuser, or the numerous spoilers and flaps.

Mechanics:
There’s not much to report here. Once again, you can get by with fewer screws. The swivel range of the keel could be larger, but it’s manageable. The soft return spring was a nice touch.

Workmanship:
The Audi shows itself at its best: flawless. Great printing, delicate flaps and spoilers. When driving, the two beautiful red side mirrors should be removed, as these parts are easily damaged in a crash.

Handling:
Setup: that’s a matter of taste. The Audi can be driven safely and quickly with both magnets. Without the rear magnet, it requires a bit more concentration, but the driver is rewarded with realistic handling. The tires had solid grip on the test track. I really liked the Audi.

Conclusion:
Whether it’s the Audi or the Mercedes, both new DTM race cars are superbly executed and are worthy little brothers to the full-size originals. Most buyers will surely be found in Europe, near all those great race tracks—no surprise there! For 2010, I’d love to see a 1:24-scale DTM model as a new release!
