Porsche 911 and the Audi R8 are
back on the starting grid. Thanks to their color schemes, the competitors are highly visible on the dark racetrack—a definite advantage during racing. The interiors are black, so the windows also appear rather dark, creating an attractive contrast to the body color.
Technically, there are essentially no differences from the previously released versions. It’s worth noting, however, that the inner surfaces of the body panels are partially painted black, which largely prevents unwanted light from shining through outside the lamp lenses. And the tires tend to offer a higher level of grip—this applies to all 2009 test vehicles I’ve encountered so far. I really hope this trend continues!
