a design icon in white!
Chris already put it so well in his post about the 911... “White is making a comeback”! For designers, white has always been a color (strictly speaking, white isn’t actually a color ;-)) that best highlights the contours and the actual vehicle design! And so it’s great to see more of this “non-color” back on the streets these days! Except for the cleaning and polishing required as the owner of a full-size car—but that’s less of an issue with a 1:32 scale sports car. So you can bring one of these gorgeous supercars home at an affordable price without any regrets!
Actually, I’m a fan of cars with race numbers on the track, but white looks really classy in miniature, too—the R8 looks great as a decorative element, and not just in contrast to the black track surface! Yeah, yeah... Sure, they're meant for driving, but this beauty doesn't have to stay hidden away in your hobby room! So here's my personal tip: Try placing one of these white super sports cars discreetly in a display case or on a shelf and let it make an impression! Placed just right, I’m sure even your significant other will appreciate it! But that only works if you haven’t already crammed your apartment full of display cases ;-)
