Carrera DIGITAL 124 Ferrari 250 GTO: Second of the GTOs

A classic in a new guise!

Yes, here we have yet another classic with a fresh new look. The finish—or rather, the color—looks different in person than it does online. I like it much better in person, although I have my doubts as to whether such a blue metallic paint job was actually done that way back then.

Be that as it may, the paint is clean and flawless. The car features the new keel, which is definitely noticeable in terms of driving safety and drifting given the narrow design. The front wheels spin absolutely smoothly and keep spinning for a long time. The rear wheels and axle are round and centered—no issues.

The tire compound isn’t bad, but for use without magnets, a tuning tire would certainly be the better choice.

The driver is once again wearing a white jumpsuit and a white helmet. I’d like to see a little more variety here.

Bottom line: the GTO is still a racy sports car for the Carrera track, and the blue one looks great among the red GTOs.
