, here we have yet another classic with a fresh new look. The finish—or rather, the color—looks different in person than it does online. I like it much better in person, although I’m a bit skeptical as to whether a blue metallic paint job like this would have been done that way back then.
Be that as it may, the paint is clean and free of defects. The car features the new stabilizer bar, which—given its narrow design—definitely makes a difference in handling and drifting. The front wheels spin absolutely smoothly and keep spinning for a long time afterward. The rear wheels and axle are round and centered—no problems.
The tire compound isn’t bad, but for use without magnets, a tuning tire would certainly be the better choice.
The driver is once again wearing a white jumpsuit and a white helmet. I'd like to see a little more variety here.
Bottom line: the GTO is still a racy sports car for theCarrera
track, and the blue one looks great among the red GTOs.
