Review by CoMod Lotus of Carrera DIGITAL 124 the Porsche GT3 RSR, BMS Scuderia Italia No. 97, 2012 (Art.Nr. 23770)
BMS Scuderia Italia is an Italian motorsports team founded by Italian steel magnate and motorsports enthusiast Giuseppe Lucchini. In 2010, the team won the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps in a Porsche, thereby claiming the FIA GT2 European Cup.
With the fifth version of the Porsche GT3 RSR
, another fantastic racing
variant was
chosen; the rich, vibrant red suits it perfectly. The white, highly visible stripes on the roof create a stunning visual effect as it speeds around the track. The truly beautiful wheels really stand out here. The chassis and technology are already familiar—check out my report
on the Flying Lizard here
—but it’s all the same!
Another great addition to the GT lineup, whether you’re looking to organize a Porsche Cup or a mixed-make racing series.
I’m already looking forward to the SLS and future Porsche designs—what a GT starting grid!
