No. 5 lives or we had to wait a long time for you

The female PM was asked the same question again at the 2012 Gaisberg Race:
Why aren’t there any more Aston Martin DBR9 variants?
Unfortunately, the answer was sobering: there had been a change in ownership, and it was too early to say how this would affect the existing license. However, they promised to really address this issue—so, THANK YOU!

People were encouraged to submit design suggestions; these certainly couldn’t hurt. This was done promptly, and naturally, the Modena was one of the clear favorites among the suggestions in terms of design and color(s).

With the No. 59, which also raced in the 2008 1000 km race at Silverstone, there isn’t really anything new to report. But the Modena version captures such a beautiful car, featuring an incredible amount of detail in the paintwork—the glossy and matte color schemes, the painted rims, and the printed brake calipers—that it simply takes your breath away! For me personally, the DBR9 is and remains one of the most beautiful GT supercars

. We’re already familiar with the updated technology from the 23747 Aston Martin Racing Green, but the new tire compound is also worth mentioning here,

as it significantly improves handling once again.

Personally, I just hope there will be more color variants of the DBR9.
