Somehow I seem to be lucky lately that I'm allowed to write tests for vehicles that I can't find anything about on the internet when researching them ;-)
In front of me are the blue Lamborghini Huracan series and the silver Huracan as a safety car. The blue one is a visual dream. The color is wonderful, I have rarely seen such an intense blue on a slot car. I have tons of ideas for the car. But I'm not supposed to write about it.
But about the safety car. The Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 in Siber with flashing lights on the roof and BLANCPAIN clock advertising on the body. And I just can't find anything about it on the net. At least not any information about the silver (!!!) car. There's a video on YouTube of a white safety car being parked (who actually records such videos? Don't they have anything better to do? *gg*). The video is quite good because you can clearly see the car and the flashing light.
Then there's a picture of the white one on the net. But that's it, so unfortunately I can't say much about fidelity to the prototype. The sponsor BLANCPAIN certainly fits the bill ;-)
I personally like the car. It's well known that I'm not a big fan of production sports cars on the racetrack, so I'm always happy when "special vehicles" come out from road cars. The Lamborghini was therefore a good choice, as the "Polizia" was launched in 2015.
The safety car has the same flashing lights as the police car, is also without a driver's insert and therefore has the black windows, which is due to the circuit board inside the body. The car weighs 102 g, just 1 g more than the normal Huracan. The handling of the Lamborghini is well known, the flounder sticks like Pattex on the racetrack and pulls through the bends as if on rails.
All in all, a really nice vehicle, especially for the younger drivers among the racetrack drivers (my boys like vehicles with flashing lights).
