Actually, everything has already been written about it. This model has been a staple in
Competitors have also entered the model into races in various versions since 2002 and 2012, respectively. However, they aren’t always easy to digitize, so in
The model (chassis):
All familiar design elements were incorporated into the chassis. As usual, the E200 engine is mounted as an inline engine in front of the rear axle. Unfortunately, the front axle could not be designed as a solid unit and is instead implemented as independent suspension. Lighting is provided by SMD LEDs.
The Model (Body):
I was initially unsure about this. The leading edge of the front spoiler is perfectly straight, and the front wheels are positioned relatively far forward in the wheel wells. In these two respects
Test Drive:
There’s not much to say about the handling with a full set of magnets—the model circles the course as if pinned to the ideal line. If you remove the rear magnet, however, the Capri quickly turns into a rear-wheel-spin machine—I’ve rarely observed this level of severity in other vehicles with this magnet configuration. Perhaps it’s due to the tires; in any case, I’ll wait until the second design variant is released before making a final judgment.
Aside from this rear-heavy tendency, the handling is smooth and produces only moderate noise.
