Bottom-sealed bags

The bottom-sealed bag is a universal bag designed for a wide variety of applications. It is ideal for storing and protecting food, as well as small parts and spare parts of all kinds. It protects against dust, dirt, and all weather conditions. And what does this have to do with the latest full-scale BMW M1? The orange BMW M1 with start number 80 that raced in the Procar Series at Zandvoort, Belgium, in 1979?
It’s simple:
ARVOR, a company based in Quarto, Italy, is the main sponsor of this BMW M1. For over 45 years, ARVOR has been synonymous with machines for manufacturing polyethylene bottom-sealed bags. Quote from their website: “ARVOR began operations in 1968 in France with its first machine, the ‘Orange’ 868GL…” (which explains the color of the BMW; some of the machines are still painted orange today).
In the 1980s, the Italians apparently stepped up their sponsorship of motorsports; for example, there are pictures online of an orange Porsche 935 that raced in the 1980 24 Hours of Le Mans. Incidentally, the ARVOR competed for the BMW France Team; the driver was Jean-Louis Lafosse, and the car finished 10th.
