: As expected, Carrera the 132 Digital System has now expanded its lineup. The track is becoming even safer, as an ambulance is now also available. In addition to the general safety duties it shares with safety cars and police cars, you could even try racing it alongside the other 3-axle vehicles.
The ambulance features a very understated design with a white base color and red lettering; the design is modern and appealing. The highlight is certainly the included nurse figure, who’s got her heart in the right place. Who wouldn’t want to have a little crash with her? Like all 3-axle vehicles, the ambulance is fun to drive but challenging.
The sounds can be adjusted via the vehicle ID (button-to-vehicle assignment). From subtle horn sounds to German and American special signals, right up to the moans of an injured person in the car… every time you press the switch—whether at a turn, when entering the pits, or just for fun—you hear it subtly but clearly.
The axles (only the rear one is powered) run smoothly, as does the rest of the build, and there are no defects.
