In the DTM, Class 1 cars have been a thing of the past since the end of the 2020 season; since 2021, the series has been contested with GT3 sports cars. Nevertheless, it naturally makes sense to make the most of the existing models. That’s why the BMW M4 DTM is now making its debut in the version driven by Timo Glock in 2019. And even though he didn’t quite land the big prize—the DTM championship title—the Hessian was always a crowd favorite. In that respect, the design is a thoroughly clever choice: not spectacular, but still eye-catching.
Technically, of course, everything is as before—this is now the 13th (!) design variant of the BMW M4 DTM. For all DTM fans, this presents an opportunity to further expand the DTM starting grid.
