The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is the most famous hill climb in the world. In Europe, it came into the spotlight among racing fans in the mid-1980s, when some automakers saw it as another opportunity to race their overpowered Group B-era rally cars.
Competing there with a Porsche 935 GT2 may seem unusual. Over the past few decades, however, the track has changed; it is now fully paved. In the 2020 race, the real Porsche 935 GT2 finished fifth overall.
This vehicle tookthe Carrera real car as its model and now presents the 1:32 scale version. Unlike the real car, it will most likely be used almost exclusively on closed circuits. The model isn’t exactly a lightweight, but that gives it solid grip on the track.The driving performance is equivalent to most GT3 cars, so that a colorful starting field can be realized here if desired.
