The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is a true challenge for race drivers. A 20-kilometer course and no fewer than 156 turns await the drivers. There are significant temperature differences between the base and the summit, which is over 4,000 meters high. This can affect the car’s aerodynamics and the engine’s intake performance—but the Porsche 935 GT2, of course, masters these challenges with ease. American race car driver, photographer, and filmmaker Jeff Zwart, who competed in the race at Pikes Peak, even describes the car as the most comfortable race car ever. No wonder he finished in the top five overall in the No. 11 car.
