This model is a true long-running favorite and has been part of the lineup in its familiar form since 2008. The silver version is the ninth design variation overall and, in my opinion, the most harmonious. The paint has a pleasant satin-matte finish rather than a greasy sheen, and the black hood—and especially the rims—provide a nice contrast.
The test drive held a surprise, as I’m not known to be a fan of this first generation of digital chassis. We hit the test track without a rear magnet, and the Ford Mustang circled the course wonderfully harmoniously and without any tricky effects. This made it clearly better than any other vehicle of this type I’ve ever driven. The tires contribute significantly to this; their grip on the test model is definitely on the higher end, which hopefully also applies to the entire production batch.
