For 17 seasons, from 2000 to 2016, Timo Scheider competed in the DTM, driving Audi cars throughout his career. In 2008 and 2009, he even won the championship title. This makes him one of the more prominent drivers affected by the cost-cutting measure introduced for the 2017 season—namely, the reduction to a total of six race cars per manufacturer. This Carrera model allows us to relive his farewell season on a small scale.
Visually, the Digital 132 model is rather unassuming—lots of matte black, along with a few shades of gray and white spots. However, there is little risk of confusing it with previously released models, so the choice of prototype is once again sensible and easy to understand.

Test Drive:
Weighing 105 grams, this model—as is Carrera typical—is no lightweight. However, its road holding and handling are impressive—there are no sudden rear swerves or unexpected veers off course. The car remains easy to control at all times and is still sufficiently nimble.
