Das Fahrzeug:
At Carrera you have a luxury problem, namely the BMW M1 in two scales. How do you sensibly distribute the 100 or so possible original designs between 1:32 and 1:24? Squaring the circle seems almost trivial in comparison.
In addition to the successful shape of the model, the "Boss" design is a real feast for the eyes. Quite a few people - myself included - will also want this look for the large scale.

The model (chassis):
Without exception, well-known and proven technology is used here. Fortunately, the front axle is continuous, and the lighting also works with only minimal stray light.

The model (body):
Some compromises always have to be made in 1:32 scale, but the model is just as impressive as its big brother from every perspective. Only time will tell whether the rear slats are just as prone to breakage as on the old Universal 132 model.

Fahrtest:
There is nothing to say about the driving behavior with full magnetic equipment, without limit range it goes around the course at top speed. However, the little M1 becomes a real racer when the rear magnet is removed. Still fast, but always neutral and easy to control through the bends. The limit range is wide and announces itself in good time. A negative aspect, however, is the rather loud and booming driving noise.
