Review:
This model has long been requested—not to say demanded—in the club forum. Now it’s finally here, at least in the smaller 1:32 scale. As early as the mid-1970s, a similar vehicle was available in the Uni and 124 series, though at the time it was in Jägermeister liveryDesign. In . In terms of fidelity to the original, the current model pulls out all the stops: the snowplow-like front spoiler, the angular wheel arch extensions, the sweeping rear spoiler. It’s no coincidence that fans affectionately call the vehicle the “Batmobile.” The rear wheel arches’ shape, which isn’t a perfect circle, is also true to the original, and at the rear you’ll find the classic chrome trim panel—a feature that was often lost over the decades on the aforementioned Uni and 124 models.
Technology and Handling:
Technically, the chassis once again corresponds to the familiar and proven designs. Despite its relative size, the total weight of 103 grams remains just within acceptable limits. The front axle is solid, and the headlights struggle somewhat to penetrate the blackened lamp lenses. When it comes to handling, the old adage “length matters” proves true once again. Without a rear magnet, there is a wide and well-controllable limit range in the corners, which in this case, however, should be equipped with edge strips. Otherwise, the rear spoiler is unlikely to survive long if it frequently comes into contact with the guardrails.
