" – Sometimes the unexpected happens: After a break of several years, another design variant of the Ford Capri RS 3100 is being released these days. The original car was driven by Werner Schommers during the 1975 season of the German Racing Championship (DRM). He finished 9th overall and repeated this result the following year, though this time in a Ford Escort.
Although the design is simple, I find it attractive and unmistakable on the track. The technical design remains unchanged; d.h. the front axle still features independent suspension, and the well-known E200 engine powers the car. This allows the model to zip around the track, though it doesn’t quite match the lap times of current GT3 or DTM cars. Nevertheless, this model is sure to find its way to many DRM fans.
