The Bavarian duel
Carrera Digital 132 BMW M4 DTM "BMW Team RMG - Marco Wittmann"

Art.Nr. 30937

Marco Wittmann won the DTM championship title in 2014 and 2016. In the 2019 season, he secured a victory right off the bat, followed by three more wins as the season progressed. This made him BMW’s leading driver, and he battled for the championship against the two Audi drivers, Rene Rast and Nico Müller. Ultimately, however, the two Audi drivers proved too dominant; nonetheless, Wittmann finished third in the overall standings, making him the top BMW driver.
His teammate Philipp Eng celebrated a race win at Zolder and scored points in nearly every other race; he failed to finish only in the penultimate round at the Hockenheimring. In the final standings, he finished sixth overall and was the second-best BMW driver behind Marco Wittmann.
These two Carrera models are still based on the 2015 redesign and therefore differ from the Audi and Mercedes models, which were redesigned in 2018. And while the latter two models are practically neck and neck on my test track, the BMW models always lag slightly behind. Taken on their own, however, there is nothing to complain about in terms of handling. As with all DTM models, they offer a smooth and solid road holding.
