Noun is omen
We at Carrera see ourselves as "motorsport for the home" and cooperate successfully with both the car industry and international racing teams. It is therefore a logical obligation for us to incorporate maximum racing fun, entertainment and quality into our products. We focus on the shared experience of people of different ages - people who enjoy beautiful cars, fascinating technology and racing. Carrera is a highly exciting game of skill - because: whoever flies off, loses.
Carrera models in racing use are subject to the same laws of physics as racing cars and sports cars on a scale of 1:1. The centrifugal forces must be counteracted with an optimum center of gravity, contact pressure is simulated with magnets, the right tire compound achieves maximum grip. For our young racing drivers, there are also challenges such as looping and other action stunt elements. The youngest drivers simply let SuperMario or Lightning McQueen whizz around the tracks.
The fun with Carrera knows no age limit and has been connecting generations for many decades. Thank you for your interest in our brand. The entire Carrera team wishes you lots of fun and fast-paced action with our products.

70s and 80s
In the 70s and 80s, the Carrera racetrack was further developed and many current and historical car models were added. The great success was overshadowed by the tragic death of Dr. Hermann Neuhierl in 1985
90s
After internal restructuring at the end of the 90s, the Stadlbauer Group from Salzburg (already responsible for the distribution of Carrera in Austria since the early 70s) took over the traditional company in 1999. Carrera combined tradition with innovative products and the use of high-tech and started another triumphal march with increasing sales at home and abroad. Stadlbauer invested in the Carrera racing track - "Carrera 124" became the premium product line Carrera Exclusiv, and in 2001 Carrera
