Our mission

How do we want to make sustainability tangible?
Based on legal requirements or even beyond, we have defined clear and measurable key performance indicators (KPIS), which we regularly check to ensure that we get closer to our sustainability goals. These KPIs drive us forward and enable us to pursue and adapt our progress.
What does us make up?
Most of our products are not only durable, but also designed as collectibles, which increases their lifespan and value - many products remain in the household for a lifetime or are passed on from generation to generation.
Our strategy to achieve our ESG goals
Through our actions and work, we strive to make the future of the world positively. We want to actively help the world become a better place for everyone.

Governance / corporate management

Corporate policy
Carrera Revell is proud to be a member of the German Toy Industry Association (DVSI). This commitment demonstrates our commitment to the highest standards and quality in the toy industry.

Our supplier relationships are largely based on long -term partnerships. The payment mechanisms are clearly regulated, and in some cases suppliers are pre -financed. A binding Code of Conduct regulates cooperation with our suppliers and ensures that ethical and fair practices are observed. We implement the ESG KPIS, in which we implement the CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) according to ESRS (European Single Reporting System) and prepare this in accordance with the taxonomy guidelines. We also work on reports and sustainability reports.
At our main locations, extensive compliance guidelines are implemented, which must be signed by every employee. These rules guarantee that our business will be managed in accordance with legal and ethical standards. We are currently working on standardizing and implementing these compliance rules for the entire group of companies.
We offer our employees our own whistleblower address. This enables you to report concerns or grievances anonymously and thus contributes to the transparency and integrity of our corporate management.

Gender equality & inclusion
At Carrera Revell , inclusion at all levels is a matter of course for us. We are committed to ensuring that all employees have the same opportunities and rights regardless of gender, origin or other characteristics.
Our workers in the value chain and our producers are certified according to the BSCI standards. This certification ensures that social and environmental standards are adhered to, thereby promoting fair and sustainable production.
Our products are accessible to all customers without restriction. This means that everyone, regardless of their personal characteristics, can access and enjoy our products.

Supplier protection law
The supply chain protection law (LKSG) or CSDDD (Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive) is observed by us. We answer customer, commercial and end user questions with various communication tools. Thanks to the Code of Conduct, Compliance guidelines and the BSCI certifications, we ensure that our suppliers comply with the LKSG.
Environment / environmental protection

Sustainable consumption & production
Customer and repair service
Carrera Revell offers its customers a comprehensive repair service to ensure that products have a long service life and that customers can enjoy them in the long term. Our aim is to provide an efficient after-sales service that meets the needs of our customers. In doing so, we continuously optimize our processes to ensure fast and reliable repair processing.
The positive effects of our repair offer are manifold. On the one hand, we enable our customers to repair their products and continue using them instead of throwing them away and buying new ones. In this way, we make an important contribution to reducing waste and conserving resources. In addition, we promote sustainable consumer behavior by focusing on the durability and repairability of our products.
Our repair offer also helps to strengthen our customers' trust in our brand, as they can rely on us to continue to support them after their purchase. Overall, our repair offer is an important part of our sustainability strategy and an example of how we can make a positive contribution to the environment through innovative solutions.
Packaging
Carrera Revell has set itself an ambitious goal to revolutionize the packaging of its products and make them more environmentally friendly.
Carrera Revell products are already available in open packaging without plastic viewing windows. The amount of plastic in the outer packaging has been significantly reduced or completely eliminated. Where possible, polybags are replaced by paper bags or reduced to a minimum. In addition, polystyrene and polyfoam are largely avoided and cardboard and paper trays made from recycled material are used instead. Packaging has been reduced in size overall and PVC is no longer used.
This change has several positive effects. Firstly, we are significantly reducing our consumption of raw materials and helping to protect the environment. By using sustainable materials, we are also reducing the environmental impact of our entire product life cycle, from production to disposal.
By reducing the size of the packaging, we are also minimizing transport and storage volumes. This has a positive impact on the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Switching to sustainable packaging materials and reducing the size of our packaging are important steps in our journey towards a more environmentally friendly and sustainable product design. Carrera Revell is committed to pursuing these goals with determination and dedication in order to make a positive contribution to the preservation of our environment.
Long -lasting products
Carrera Revell products are already characterized by their remarkable durability. Our aim is to continue to offer products that meet this high standard and exceed our customers' expectations.
The durability of our products has a positive impact on the environment as it helps to avoid waste. By using high quality materials and robust designs, our products can be used over long periods of time without losing quality or performance. This reduces the need to replace products frequently, minimizing waste that ends up in landfills or needs to be recycled.
Our commitment to longevity is a key part of our sustainability strategy and a demonstration of our dedication to providing products that not only meet the needs of our customers, but also make a positive contribution to the preservation of our environment.

Climate change
Adaptation to climate change
Adaptation to the challenges of climate change is of crucial importance for companies, since this has far -reaching effects on various business areas. On the one hand, consumer behavior towards a stronger focus changes on sustainable products. Consumers prefer increasingly environmentally friendly and socially responsible offers. Companies that recognize and implement these trends at an early stage have a clear advantage.
At the same time, climate change leads to considerable fluctuations in raw material prices and services. Climate -related events such as droughts, storms or floods can affect production and significantly increase the costs of raw materials. Transport is also constantly disturbed by environmental disasters, which can lead to delivery bottlenecks and higher transport costs.
Overall, it is essential for companies like ours to proactively adapt to the challenges of climate change - so we want to work with various measures in the future.
Climate protection
In order to actively use climate protection and adapt to climate change, we will make a number of changes in the future. Our products, which have been largely made of plastic and are produced in the Far East, are to be increasingly manufactured from alternative, sustainable raw materials. As a result, we reduce the use of petroleum -based materials and reduce our dependence on non -renewable resources.
We will also take new ground during transport. The preferred transport route by ship to Europe remains, but we will increasingly rely on low -emission means of transport and methods to minimize ecological footprint. This could include the use of more energy -efficient ships or alternative energies. At the same time, we develop alternative marketing and distribution concepts to optimize the supply chains and reduce the associated emissions.
We produce at different locations. In addition to China, we also deliberately also have production sites in Europe and the USA near our shipping camp in order to reduce transports and the associated CO2 emissions.
Another focus is on resource conservation. We will take measures to reduce energy and water consumption and use existing raw materials more efficiently. This includes the optimization of production processes as well as the promotion of recycling and circular economy.
To evaluate and control our efforts, we create comprehensive carbon footprints (CCF) for all locations, including relevant SCOPE-3 emissions. This enables us to identify and implement targeted measures for emission reduction. Through these holistic adjustments and the focus on sustainable practices, we make an active contribution to climate protection and at the same time ensure the future viability of our company.
energy
Although the companies of the Carrere Revell Group themselves do not operate producing units, we are aware that our suppliers have energy -intensive production processes. Therefore, we deal intensively with the topic of energy consumption and are currently checking the switch to green electricity and alternative energies in our supply chain. Through these measures, we want to make our contribution to reducing CO₂ footprint and improve the sustainability of our entire value chain. The use of renewable energies and the promotion of energy -efficient technologies are the focus of our efforts in order to minimize ecological impact and to promote long -term environmentally friendly production methods.

Employees: inside
What goals do we set ourselves in personnel management and development?
In modern HR management and development, targeted measures play a central role in attracting the best employees and continuously optimizing joint development goals. A key objective is to promote efficient working and enable better collaboration. Targeted development programs and a culture of continuous learning not only increase productivity, but also strengthen employee motivation and loyalty.
Healthy and motivated employees are the foundation of every successful company. Health promotion measures and a positive working environment help to reduce sickness rates and increase employee satisfaction. This results in lower staff turnover, as satisfied employees are less likely to leave the company.
These aspects are essential in order to remain attractive as an employer and to prevail in the competition for talent. Companies that support their employees and offer a healthy working environment create a future basis for positive employee feedback. Such recognition strengthens employer branding and continues to attract highly qualified specialists, which perpetuates the cycle of success and excellence in personnel management and development.
In future, all our employees will also be required to sign a Code of Conduct, which ensures that clear behavioral guidelines and ethical standards of the company, such as integrity, respect, fairness and professionalism in dealing with each other, with external partners and with customers, are adhered to. The Code of Conduct stands for a uniform corporate culture and conveys the values and principles of Carrera Revell GmbH.
Health and well -being at work
Carrera Revell attaches great importance to promoting the health and well-being of its employees in order to create a positive working environment and ensure high motivation and productivity. Our goal is to have healthy and motivated employees, reduce sick leave, lower the turnover rate and improve team cohesion.
To achieve these goals, we already meet all legal requirements in the areas of occupational medicine and safety in the workplace.
In addition, we offer our employees various health services, such as bike leasing to integrate exercise into their daily work routine and healthy food in the canteen at our site in Puch to support a balanced diet. Taking part in the Salzburg Business Run not only promotes physical fitness, but also strengthens team spirit and cooperation.
In future, we are planning further measures to promote health in the workplace, including height-adjustable standing desks and ergonomic IT equipment for medical needs, for example to prevent back problems. Gym allowances and a selection of free drinks and fruit also contribute to physical health.
In addition to physical aspects, we also attach importance to the mental health of our employees. Measures such as mental training, autogenic training and workshops on stress and burnout prevention are designed to support well-being and mental health; the ideal implementation of these measures will be closely examined in the near future, and a pilot project with hotlines for employees has been running at our site in Puch since 2023. Overall, we strive to create a working environment that focuses on the health and well-being of our employees and supports them in developing their full potential.
Development programs for employees
Carrera Revell relies on a variety of development programs to optimally promote the potential of its employees and create a positive working environment. Our goal is to enable efficient working, improve collaboration and attract and retain talented employees.
To achieve these goals, we have been offering our employees access to a business account on the LinkedIn Learning platform since mid-2024, where they can use a variety of training and courses to continuously expand their skills and knowledge, employees can use further individual training courses by arrangement and based on their own interests and talents to ideally expand their personal skills.
In addition, we want to invest specifically in training for managers to ensure that they have the necessary skills and competencies to lead and motivate their teams effectively. A code of conduct for managers serves as a guideline for positive and respectful leadership behaviour, along with a variety of new options, such as the efficient use of project management tools or conducting and using regular feedback meetings.
We also plan to give middle management more access to seminars or boot camps in future.
In addition to these measures, we regularly organize team events, company celebrations and other events such as hiking tours or tobogganing trips to strengthen team spirit and promote togetherness. In the future, we are also planning a charity day where some of the employees will come together for a charitable cause.
To further motivate our employees, we offer corporate benefits such as employee discounts and home office, work-life balance initiatives, lunch and modern working environments.
Overall, we focus on holistic personnel development that takes into account the individual needs and potential of our employees and enables them to give their best and continuously develop themselves further
Further measures to promote personnel and development of employees
In order to sustainably improve employee satisfaction and efficiency within the company, we rely on a variety of other personnel measures.
We regularly survey our employees on various relevant topics in order to obtain the mood of the workforce.
The young talent forum, which will soon be launched, offers young and new employees the opportunity to regularly exchange ideas with the management. This forum promotes dialog and participation, allowing innovative ideas and fresh perspectives to flow directly into the management of the company.
Training courses on data protection and compliance are an integral part of the training program. This training ensures that all employees have the necessary knowledge and skills to meet legal requirements and safeguard the integrity of the company.
Suggestions for improvement from employees are an integral part of our internal processes and help to strengthen the company's innovative power and establish a culture of continuous improvement.
Finally, Carrera Revell offers employees who are themselves members of a sports club the opportunity to apply to sponsor the team, for example by sponsoring jerseys; the project was launched in 2024. This commitment not only promotes employee loyalty, but also strengthens team spirit and identification with the company.
