An old acquaintance
The Audi R8 LMS in 1:24 scale is a familiar face on the Carrera racetrack. The first large R8 appeared in the range in 2012, and the car has been available in 1:32 for some time.
I don't need to say much more about the handling of this year's color variant of the Audi; just check out the reviews from previous years. The build quality and, above all, the true-to-scale paint job on the Audi leave nothing to be desired.
The current item number 23826 is the 2015 race car from the YACO Racing team from the Vogtland region. The motorsport team was founded in 2001 by rally driver Uwe Geipel.

In 2006, YACO started in the ADAC Procar racing series for the first time, since 2012 they have been driving in the ADAC GT Masters series, and since 2013 YACO has been driving an Audi R8:

If you take a closer look at the car, you'll notice that Rahel Frey is listed as the second driver alongside Philip Geipel. The attractive blonde has been driving for the Plauen-based racing team since 2014; the Swiss driver previously competed in the DTM.
