Carrera DIGITAL 132 Mercedes C-Coupe AMG DTM – Lucas Auer

In November 2016, the collector scene was somewhat stirred by the sudden appearance of an Evolution base set "Hightech Race BWT vs. Euronics" on various sales portals. It contained two Mercedes C-Coupe AMG DTM models, one of the familiar blue and yellow models by Gary Paffett, and a previously unknown pink model.
Fake? Special Edition? Neither of the two, but simply an early 2017 release that made its debut in this special set. And as already discussed in the forum, the design doesn't really fit the existing body shape, as Lucas Auer drove the successor model in the original. Nevertheless, the adaptation to the now quite dated 2013 design is very well done, and the black rims contribute to the appearance.
However, I can't tell you anything new about the technology and handling: the front lights radiate slightly from the wheel arches, and the performance is flawless. The model sits firmly on the track and offers balanced handling, just like all other DTM cars.
