Review by CoMod Carrera 124 of Carrera the D132 Porsche 911 Police

More than 40 years ago , the first police Porsche was alreadyCarrera patrolling the Carrera racetrack: from 1967 to 1974, the Porsche 911 with a blue light was part of the Universal 132 lineup. The large number of preserved, pre-assembled models suggests that the model must have been very popular at the time.
While the original model featured a simple white body, the current model rolls onto the starting line in a smart silver-blue color scheme. Modern technology has also made its way into the blue light: no mechanical breaker contact like in the 60s. The lighting is controlled via the digital circuit board. This feature is already familiar from the Audi R8 DTM Safety Car, so it offers the same operating modes:
vehicle lights and turn signals on
, turn signals only on
, vehicle lights only on
, vehicle lights and turn signals off
. If the Porsche is programmed as the pace car, the turn signals turn on when it exits the pit lane, and turn off again after about 15 seconds
. Equipped in this way, the chase can begin—not only on digital but also on analog racetracks!
