The red “Rochen” is, after all, the racetrack counterpart to the real car—the first prize for the 2008 World Championship winner. The Manta was based on a standard production vehicle with a 1.9-liter engine producing 90 PS. The car was then built up by a Franconian workshop known from TV and fitted with a racing suspension and bold aluminum rims.
In addition, Mike and his crew even managedEvolution to fit a small track into the trunk. The crowning touch was the Carrera -logo on the sides of the car.
Andreas Loth won the World Championship that year; heCarrera sold his Manta the following year to a well-known -collector and -dealer, who has since been using the Opel as an advertising vehicle for his business.
