/132 electronic lap counter
(Item No. 30342)
If you have the electronic lap counter, you can install it next to the Control Unit and connect it to the Control Unit. However, this disables the lap counting function of the Position Tower. The lap counter is the sole authority on the track.
The Tower’s displays then show only the positions of the cars in the race. The lap counter handles everything else, such as the number of laps, fastest laps, and total times. Since the lap count is sourced from different points in this setup, discrepancies might arise if both instruments display the same data, potentially leading to unnecessary discussions.
If the lap counter were to be redesigned, it would be possible to standardize the count by linking it to the same measurement point. I think the current solution works pretty well for nowleben.Pace , though. " Car"and "Autonomous" aren't displayed on the lap counter because it only supports 6 vehicles, and those two vehicles are coded as 7 and 8, respectively.
