CoMod Carrera 124 Test Report on the Carrera DIGITAL 124 Porsche GT3 RSR Blackswan Racing, 2010 Test

Since the GT3 was the last new model to be released, the third color variant is now ready to hit the market. This is the test version from the Blackswan Racing Team. And as is often the case with test versions, the car is painted matte black. Which brings us to one drawback: the car isn’t always easy to spot on the black track pieces. However, the white-painted roof mitigates this effect somewhat.
Since the car features a race number, the design fortunately doesn’t look out of place alongside the two variants released so far. Technically, there are no differences anyway; the Blackswan Racing version also features the improved 2010 chassis generation.
I skipped the driving test with magnets and removed all of them right away instead. Tire grip is average, allowing for safe driving but still leaving some room for improvement. Anyone who has already driven one of the other two GT3 design variants won’t encounter any surprises.

Porsche GT3 RSR Blackswan Racing, 2010 Test

First off, I’d like to send a huge thank you to Austria! Calendar week 10, and the first color variant of the Porsche GT3 RSR is available! As far as I’m concerned, the 124 series can keep coming at this pace.
Blackswan…well, the black swan is at least as beautiful as Natalie Portman in the movie of the same name, but that’s just a side note.
Once again, we’re treated to a test version in black. Most people will probably groan right now and think, “Not another one of those old test cars in black!” But the matte-black test version of the Porsche GT3 RSR is in no way comparable to its predecessors. This version stands out because of its contrast! Finally, a version in menacing matte black with an aggressive look that can easily be used as a race car. Maybe it’s the white roof, the spoiler with the Stars and Stripes, or the green color details and accents. Even at its unveiling at the show, it was clear that the Blackswan went over very well with everyone.
Again, I won’t go into detail about all the chassis updates here—you can find those covered in depth in my report on the Flying Lizard—all the same!
For me, this is yet another great variant of the GT3 RSR. It performs really well on the track, and it's getting harder and harder to pick a favorite! In any case, it's another "must-have," and as a Porsche and GT fan, you can't pass up the Blackswan either.
I'm already looking forward to the FALKEN and future designs.
