The '57 Chevy Bel Air is an icon in America. The release of the new "Sammy's Garage" race version of this classic is the second in the series of racing Bel Airs. A distinctive and true-to-the-era design makes this model stand out. The sponsor is a fictional racing shop, "Sammy's Garage," and the engine is a Chevy small-block with 283 horsepower and fuel injection!
The slot cars (both digital and analog) are powered by the standardCarrera "E200" motor" 200" and feature Carrera 200" adjustable magnets under the chassis. Sticky rubber tires provide the driver with excellent grip on Carrera the track as well as solid performance even without the traction magnets on high-grip wood tracks.
The DIGITAL132 car features working taillights that "flash" when the driver releases the throttle. And with a flip of the polarity switch under the car and three pulls of the controller trigger, the DIGITAL132 car can go from racing on your DIGITAL track to racing on an analog track with NO modifications! The polarity switch on the bottom of the car also gives the driver the option to race in the opposite direction on an analog track.
