Writing a review about the BLACK FALCON team eventually gets boring.
Okay, actually, it doesn’t.

Because, to be honest, you’d naturally rather write a review about a winning car that looks great than about a lame old clunker that, while it looks great, ended up somewhere around 538th place.

And the SLS certainly looks great. You have to give the guys from Meuspath credit—they really go the extra mile when it comes to the aesthetics of their cars. So far, every one of their cars has been a head-turner, both in real life and on the racetrack.

For me, that’s also one of the biggest selling points of the small-scale SLS sets so far: real race cars that let you put together a decent starting grid on the track. And if you want, you can even get a safety car to go with it. ;-)

As far as the overall look goes (aside from the issue with the sidepipes and the missing second flap), there’s nothing to complain about—the decals are applied very neatly. No imperfections in the paint, no smudged colors, and the gaps are clean and precisely aligned. When driving, I recommend removing the side mirrors. Otherwise, they’ll pop off on their own after a few laps because they stick out so far. Acceleration is good, as expected from this model, and so is the top speed.

It’s no coincidence that the Mercedes Gullwing is currently one of the most popular cars in Carrera the 132 lineup!
