the spirit of the Four Rings …

there are once again two new additions to the D1:32 lineup. The two new Audi R8 LMS models, in green and blue base colors, are visually striking and highly visible and distinguishable on the track.
The “blue Audi” features large FELBERMAYER lettering on the side…. That rings a bell… yes, the expensive, light-blue Porsche 911 from the first 124 Porsche 911 series, but who or what is Felbermayer, and what does the “Car Collection” imprint/model designation refer to…. Just for Carrerahardcore collectors?

The Austrians Horst Sr. and Horst Jr. Felbermayer are active in international motorsports both as sponsors (Felbermayer Holding, an international construction and transportation company) and as active drivers—or rather, they were active in racing.

Car dealer Peter Schmidt initially owned the company “Schmidt Automobile,” which was later restructured into “CC Car Collection Autohandels GmbH.” This led to the company’s involvement in the VLN Endurance Championship, Black Pain Endurance, and International 24-Hour Series.
“CarCollection” not only competes in races itself but also provides support and service for customer teams… a Felbermayer GT3 Audi R8 LMS can be purchased here for just under 375,000 euros.

Yaco-Racing has been in existence for 16 years now and has fielded cars in more than 400 races. In 2001, Uwe Geipel, a former East German rally champion and Wartburg factory driver, founded the family-run YACO racing team. Joining the YACO-Racing team with great success are his sons Philip and Charlie, as well as, in recent years, well-known names such as Markus Winkelhock and Christian Mamerow.
Philip Geipel and former DTM driver Rahel Frey are racing the latest Audi R8 in the GT3 series.

The models feature flawless graphics and a perfect fit. While the slightly heavy weight does affect performance, the cars are easy and safe to handle.
There’s relatively little space in the chassis for trim weights. The axles turn easily, but a drop of oil can’t hurt.
All in all, these are two more visually appealing and competitive cars for the 1:32 GT series.
