Carrera DIGITAL 132 BMW M4 DTM 'BMW Team RBM - Maxime Martin' Item

No.: 30835

Belgian driver Maxime Martin was part of the BMW driver lineup in the DTM from 2014 to 2017. He had already made a name for himself thanks to his versatility: the FIA WEC, ADAC GT Masters, ALMS, and Blancpain Endurance Series, to name just a few of the most prominent series in which he competed. In the DTM, he achieved considerable success with 3 wins and 10 podium finishes, though he was unable to contend for the championship.
The look of his race car didn’t change significantly over the course of those four years; its distinguishing feature was always the white-and-blue color scheme combined with the logo of his sponsor, Samsung. With this simple yet striking color scheme, he was easily identifiable on the track. And the same is true of the 1:32 scale model on the racetrack. Over the years since 2013, a total of 23 different DTM cars have Digital 132 been released—so there aren’t many attractive gaps left to fill. This model has now closed another one, ahead of the new Audi and Mercedes designs scheduled for release this fall.
As for handling, I must—or rather, can—say the same thing as I do about all other 1:32-scale DTM cars: at 107 grams, the BMW packs quite a punch, though on the other hand, the car isn’t exactly small. The weight gives the model good road holding without making it feel sluggish. It moves forward briskly and is easy to control, with no unexpected surprises.
