Model:
It came as a big surprise when the Porsche factory team competed at Le Mans in 2018 with two Porsche 911s in retro design. Both models have been Carreraproduced on a 1:24 scale, which—especially in the case of the “Sau” or “Pink Pig”—results in very intricate printing. The historic model is the 1971 Porsche 917/20, which remains a one-of-a-kind vehicle and can be viewed at the Porsche Museum.

Technology:
Technically, the model adheres to established design principles. At a total of 250 grams, it is on the heavy side, but its weight is in line with that of other GT vehicles. As usual, the motor drives the rear axle via a Sidewinder, and the holding magnets can be partially or completely removed as needed.

Test Drive:
A positive aspect is the smooth operation and the very quiet transmission—something that hasn’t been Digital 124the case with all vehicles so far . The weight and dimensions result in very solid handling; the model is rarely thrown off balance.
On the other hand, the weight naturally takes a bit of a toll on its agility.
