238912018/19: The FIA World Endurance Championship spanned two calendar years for the first time, which is why this season was also referred to as the “Super Season.” The Porsche 911 RSR with start number #91 was driven by Richard Lietz, Gianmaria Bruni, and Frederic Makowiecki. The first two drivers finished third overall in the GTE Drivers’ Championship, thereby helping Porsche celebrate the GTE Manufacturers’ Championship for factory teams.

Compared to the model with start number #93, the only major change was the color of a decorative stripe, which changed from red to gold. This relatively minor change has a major impact on the
car’s visual appearance. As is almost always the case with design variants, everything remains technically unchanged. Due to the vehicle's enormous width, a proactive driving style is essential, especially in head-to-head situations. The weight is noticeable in the handling, but the model nonetheless impresses with its good handling characteristics.
