Whereas the cars were previously known on the racetrack for their black-white-red livery (with spark plug manufacturer NKG as the main sponsor), they now grace the track in a more appealing blue-and-white livery. The reason in this case is once again the main sponsor: it is now HELLA PAGID. HELLA GmbH & Co. KGaA is, of course, well known to motorsport enthusiasts; Hella has been involved in racing as a sponsor for decades. HELLA-PAGID Brake Systems is the “Brakes” division of the internationally operating German automotive supplier, one of the leading providers in the brake systems segment.
I really like this car. It’s no secret that I’m not a fan of red Ferraris (the same goes, by the way, for British cars in British Racing Green—after all, I don’t buy every German car in Silver Arrow livery either). That’s why I find this Ferrari extremely well-executed, especially since the paint job (including the sponsors’ logos) perfectly complements the elegant lines of the Maranello racer.
