" The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is the most famous hill climb race in the world. In Europe, it came into the spotlight among racing fans in the mid-1980s, when some automakers saw it as another opportunity to race their overpowered Group B rally cars.
Competing there with a Porsche 935 GT2 may seem unusual. Over the past few decades, however, the course has changed; it is now completely paved. In the 2020 race, the real Porsche 935 GT2 finished fifth overall.
This car was modeled Carrera after that real-life vehicle and is now available as a 1:32 scale model. Unlike its real-life counterpart, it will most likely be used almost exclusively on closed circuits. The model isn’t exactly a lightweight, but that gives it solid grip on the track.The performance levels are on par with most GT3 cars, making it possible to put together a diverse field of competitors.
