A retro look for a farewell
The Ford GT Race Car is the latest racing version of the Ford GT. At the same time, Ford is using this vehicle to bid farewell—for now—to the legendary endurance race in northern France. The car bearing the number 67 is inspired by the legendary winning car driven by Gurney/Foyt in the 1967 Ford MK IV. In stylish red and white, the Chip Ganassi Racing car is sure to turn heads. The American automaker’s elegant sports car was produced in a strictly limited run and, with 656 horsepower, is a true contender on the endurance circuit. With the 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine from the Ford EcoBoost lineup, the champion is a formidable opponent on the racetrack.
