The gullwing doors are back
From 2010 to 2014, a Mercedes with gullwing doors once again made a big impression. The sports car, developed independently by AMG, impressed not only with its design. The engines were hand-assembled. The body is made of aluminum, which allows for significant weight savings. Thanks to a naturally aspirated V8 engine mounted behind the front axle as a front-mid engine, the car delivers 571 hp and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds. With this horsepower output, the V8 engine delivers incredible speed, accelerating this unique car to over 300 km/h. It even proved its worth as a safety car in Formula 1.
