What is Carrera HYBRID?

With a choice between beginner and expert modes, there’s something for riders of every skill level.

Carrera HYBRID is available at specialty retailers and various online retailers, as well as on carrera-toys.com.

The Carrera HYBRID vehicles are on a 1:50 scale.

Each set includes two licensed, true-to-life Porsche 911 GT3 R models in a variety of cool paint schemes. Also included are 4 high-speed straights, 10 nerve-wracking turns, and a start/finish straight. These can be set up in various configurations to ensure that every race remains exciting and unique. Furthermore, the batteries are permanently installed in the cars, and matching USB charging cables are included so you can get started right away. The Carrera HYBRID app can be Godownloaded for free from the GoGoogle Play Store and the Apple Store.

There are several sets that come with all the parts racers need. There is also a selection of interesting individual vehicles, track expansion sets (known as "Track Packs"), and other vehicle models.

The vehicles are controlled via an app that Gocan be downloaded for free from the Apple App Store and GoGoogle Play Store. Steering is intuitive: simply tilt your smartphone or use the touchscreen joystick. Buttons on the display control the accelerator and brake. The app’s design is modeled after the cockpit of a real race car to provide a particularly natural driving experience. While driving, the vehicles scan the road and use the app to know exactly where they are. AI assists with steering, helping the vehicle stay on the road and find the ideal line. This assistance can be adjusted to different levels, ranging from strong support for beginners to minimal support for experienced professionals.

The HYBRIDapp also includes vehicle- and situation-specific engine, brake, and gearshift noises while driving.

Please send in all RC products in their entirety. For slot car tracks, please send only the defective parts or technically relevant parts (transformer, handheld controller, starting track, cars, switches).

This is planned for one of the upcoming app updates, but it can already be achieved in principle using the following "workaround": Set Ghost Car to the "HIGH" driving assistance level, place it on the track, and accelerate to the desired speed. Then move the app to the background or minimize it. The racer will now continue driving autonomously on the track. As soon as it leaves the track—for example, because it was pushed off—it will stop immediately.
