Carrera offers a selection of race tracks that are suitable for different age groups. The Carrera First sets are ideal for toddlers aged 3 and up, as they feature child-friendly controls and a space-saving design. The speed of the vehicles is limited here, which helps children to keep the cars on track better and avoid frustration.

For children aged 6 and over, there are entry-level models such as the Carrera Digital 143 or Carrera Go. These sets offer exciting accessories and are popular due to their ease of use and fun factor.

For children aged 8 years and older, we recommend moving on to more sophisticated systems such as Carrera Evolution or Carrera Digital 132, which offer more play options and a greater challenge. These tracks also offer the option of upgrading to digital systems at a later date.

Adult and experienced users who are willing to invest more in their hobby can opt for the higher quality sets of the Carrera Digital 124 or Digital 132 , which offer an even more authentic racing experience.

Everyone has to decide for themselves which Carreratrack is best, depending on how big their hobby budget is, how much space your home offers or how old your racing partners are. However, we recommend the GO!!! or Digital 132 racetracks for beginners.

The routes of the Carrera Digital 132 and Carrera Digital 124 are often identical. They have the same 1:24 scale. The main difference lies in the vehicles. Vehicles on the Digital 124 run on a scale of 1:24.

Not all Carrera cars can be driven on every track; compatibility depends on the scale and the system (digital or analog) of the track and the cars. Cars of the Carrera digital series are specially designed for digital systems and analog cars for analog tracks, whereby digital cars do not work on analog tracks without further ado.

An exact speed varies depending on the scale and model and therefore cannot be universally converted. However, many Carreraprofessionals report having accelerated their racing sleds to up to 126 km/h.

Carrera offers detailed 1:32 and 1:24 scale race tracks for experienced slot car racers and collectors, equipped with digital technologies for complex races, while Carrera GO!!! is designed in the smaller 1:43 scale, primarily for children and beginners, with a focus on easy handling and analog race track experiences.

Carrera Digital allows multiple cars to drive in the same lane with overtaking opportunities through digital technology, while Carrera Analog offers traditional slot car racing with one car per lane without lane changes.

Carrera Cars are designed specifically for certain track systems, with digital cars only being fully functional on digital tracks and analog cars only being fully functional on analog tracks. Compatibility is determined by the scale and technical specifications of the cars and tracks, which means that not every car can be used on every track.

Yes, Carreratracks are expandable. Carrera offers a wide range of accessories and expansion sets for their various race track systems, so you can customize and expand your track. This includes additional tracks, turnouts, vehicles and even digital components for some systems that make the racetrack experience even more realistic and exciting.
