In 2019, Revell Carrera GmbH, a subsidiary of Quantum Opportunity Fund II GmbH Co & . KG, & acquired 100% of the shares in the Austrian company Stadlbauer Marketing Vertrieb GmbH (SMV) from the Stadlbauer family: In other words, CARRERA was sold by the Stadlbauer family in Puch, Salzburg, to Quantum Capital Partners. QUANTUM is a Munich-based private equity firm that acquires companies with significant potential for improvement, growth, and development and, after restructuring, resells them to new owners. In the toy sector, QUANTUM had already acquired the long-established company REVELL in 2018. The founder, CEO, and most recognizable face of QUANTUM is Steffen Görig.
The 52-year-old has been active as an amateur race car driver in motorsports for years. Since 2020, he has been racing for the HERBERTH MOTORSPORT team based in Jedenhofen near Dachau.https://www.driverdb.com/drivers/steffen-grig/
The visually striking blue-and-red Porsche RSR—which, ironically, strongly resembles the colors of the historic CARRERA UNIVERSAL and 124—is the car Steffen Görig is currently racing. His results from this season and previous ones can be found in the Drivers Database:

blue-and-red Porsche 935 from the 2019 season also graces the cover of CARRERA’s 2020 catalog.
If you’d like to learn more about both cars—the No. 69 935 and the No. 93 911 GT3—as well as Steffen Görig’s involvement in motorsports, I recommend using the Go ogle search. All my research would go way beyond the scope of this report on the car and driver ???? Carrera There's even a separate thread on this topic in the club—the links posted there are all worth checking out!
