    Masterpiece from Great Britain

Lola, the renowned British race car manufacturer, designed the LolaT70 in 1965, a two-seater race car for the unrestricted Group 7 sports car racing series in England and the USA. Despite a modest production run of just over 100 units, the Lola T70 is still known today as the most successful race car to come out of England. The Lola T70 Spyder was the first variant of the model, followed by the Lola T70 Mk II Spyder in 1966 and the Lola Mk III Spyder in 1967. The Lola T70 MKIIIb with its impressive 720 hp is a real treat for motorsport enthusiasts on their home Carrera racetrack.

    A real eye-catcher

With its unique, bright green Gaisberg design, the 1:24 scale Lola T70 races around your Carrera racetrack. The Lola T70 was driven to world championship in the CanAm series by John Surtees in 1966, although it only won one race against the McLaren M6A-Chevrolet the following year. The first closed variant was the Lola Mk III Coupé, introduced in 1967 and later superseded by the Mk IIIB Coupé in 1969. The detailed replica of the slot car is equipped with front, rear and brake lights, can be controlled digitally, used in analog and individually coded. The Gaisberg Race slot car version of the Lola T70 is a visual feast for the eyes on any racetrack and whizzes around the Carrera racetrack in 1:24 scale.

    The Gaisberg Race

The Gaisbergrennen is a historic mountain race in Salzburg that has been held on the Gaisberg since 1929. After a break in the 1960s due to safety concerns, the race was revived in 2003 as a rally for classic cars. Today, the focus is no longer on speed, but on uniformity and reliability.

The Gaisbergrennen 2023 will take place from 08.06.2023 to 10.06.2023 and is a highlight in the calendar for classic car enthusiasts worldwide.
